Today is the 1st of April, so it's April Fool's Day, isn't it?
Haha. HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY.
Unfortunately, since i'm banned from msn, I won't be able to play any pranks on anybody. RAWR. so sad. TT^TT. hahaha. oh well. Anyway, it's a long story of how I'm banned from msn. Long long story. And a rather private one too. So, i'm not going to type it here. Instead, i'm going to talk about the 8+ hours I spent outdoors yesterday, the SJAB Flag Day.
First, we met up at bugis. Naturally, we started collecting at bugis. We went in pairs or 3s. I went with Zhi-Yi, and we started collecting all around bugis. Afterwards, we decided to just stay put at one of the bugis mrt entrances. I sounded like a robot.
"Hello/Hi. Would you like to donate/make a donation?"
Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.
Haiyo. My voice went sore after a while. It was already sore before (as in, I got the bacteria kind of sore throat), then it got worse. But that didn't really bother me. Some of them didn't donate to me and zhi-yi, because they said they already donated. We thought it was weird - how come there were people who already donated if they just came out of the MRT? Unless...there was someone downstairs, which was not allowed. We're not allowed to go into shopping centres or anywhere that's indoors, because we don't have the authorization. But we got a tip from a middle-aged lady who told us that she had already donated to someone downstairs. So i got totally pissed and was stomping downstairs, and spotted two guys and two girls. I told the guys that they weren't allowed to ask for donations downstairs. They were like "why?". Then i said that it was because they don't have authorization. They were like "why?" again. Then i was totally pissed. You don't have authorization BECAUSE you don't have authorization. What a bunch of idiots. Oh well. I gave up on them and continued asking for donations upstairs. They were doing illegal things lah! RAWR. But it was none of my business, so I continued asking for donations.
After a while, Zhi-Yi and I began to get bored with bugis. We went over to City Hall, where the people were more generous. Some people at bugis only gave like, 10 cents, some of them, I saw that they had like, $10, $5, $2 notes and a whole lot of coins in their wallets, but they gave me ONE CENT COINS. What the. We don't even use one cent coins anymore! What cheapskates!!
But over at city hall, people were more generous. They gave like $2, $5, and lots of coins. Some people just gave us all the coins they had in their wallets, caucasians (spelling?) mostly, including some malaysian coins. Haha. But I just smiled and said Thank You.
Anyway, over at the city hall entrance, I met some Cat high and ACS I boys. We exchanged coins, as in, he donated to my can, I donated to his can. One ACS I guy looked really cool, with one earring with a cross on his left ear. Haha. I wonder if that's allowed??
Then at around 12, the guys asked zhi-yi and I if we wanted to have lunch with them. Zhi-Yi and I thought it would be a bit weird, but we still went with them. One guy pronounced my name as Lara. RAWR. hahah. oh well. but he got it right in the end. They like, cannot pronounce Zhi-Yi's name. haha. oh well.
Then we went over to burger king. Haiyo. I thought Burger King didn't have any cheeseburgers, but later on, i spotted a cheeseburger! BUT. a HUGE BUT.
BUT the cheeseburger turned out to be part of KIDS MEAL WITH TOY. I ordered it anyway. The ACS I guys were like, laughing behind me, because I ordered a cheeseburger, which under the menu, was KIDS MEAL WITH TOY. I told them I didn't care, because I liked cheeseburgers best.
Then after lunch, the ACS I guys went back, and we met up with Jeraldine and Hui Yee. We told them we had lunch with a bunch of ACS I guys. (OMG. I ALMOST TYPED " we had a bunch of acs i guys for lunch." RAWR. ) Then Jeraldine was like "I know". Zhi-Yi and I were like "How'd you know?" Then she said that a bunch of Cat High guys told her while asking for donations. Then jeraldine said that she said "that's so typical of Laura". RAWR. JERALDINE. I"M GOING TO WHACK YOU.
Anyway, i met a couple of cantonese people again, just like last year. Weird. Cantonese people like to go to raffles city. haha. Just like....me! hahaha.
And then the rest of the day was spent at another entrance of the city hall station, outside raffles city. We met a group of another guys, but I don't know what school they were from. They kept flashing the sun at me with the silver part of the tin cans. GRR. so annoying. haha. But still, I donated to them. OH. One funny thing that happened was when they asked me for donations, I was searching for my wallet in my pocket, when i realised my pocket zip was open, and my wallet was missing! Then i ran back to the previous place i asked for donations, screaming, "WHERE'S MY WALLLET?!" Zhi-Yi thought I was mad. Then I looked into my bag, and found my frigging wallet. RAWR. RAWR. RAWR. Zhi-Yi collapsed onto the floor and laughed. I laughed along with her. It was such a nice, relieving, and weird kind of feeling. Haha.
Then when we calmed down, we were like," Oh yeah. We still have to donate to those guys". hahaha. Then the guys left after I donated.
Then two Marist Stella guys showed up. They hor, so what lah. Haha. They were asking for donations INSIDE RAFFLES CITY. That's AGAINST THE LAW!! But they were still bragging about how much money they got from the indoors, and how they didn't have to sweat. WHAT THE.
Anyway, that's about it. At about 3, I was already very tired and cranky, and felt the same as I did when i had PMS. Oh well.
Then I went home at about four.
Then when I came home, after bathing and eating and medication, I went for a 3 hour nap. Then I woke up, ate dinner, had medication, watched some TV and went back to sleep. Hahah. What a day.
I was thinking about him for most of the day yesterday.
