Of course, that was meant to be "Holy Saint Francis", but I thought, nah, that's too... religious?

so.

Mouldy Faint Fancies.
(actually, at first, I wanted it to be Mouldy Faint Panties, but Joy wouldn't let me. TT^TT. haha. it's toooooo hahah. you get it).

So yes, I'm going to post about everything I haven't posted about for the past few days:
- camp
- school

Okay, so that sounds a bit dry, but no matter, it's fun all the same.

So, yes, camp.

I've officially graduated (well, i consider it graduation) from NYSJAB CAMP '07.

So it's 6.00 am in the morning, in NYGH. It's pitch black all around, with a faint light at the end of the corridor. The heavy backpack weighs on your two small, but energized shoulders. Dim light gives you the opportunity to see the many dozen little snails on the floor, some squashed (and ... you don't want me to describe more about the crushed snails).

And of course,
more corpmates.

I had one illegal item, actually, a pair - slippers.
They were supposed to be sandals. Apparantly I mixed up sandals and slippers. (:o)

Then it was punishments. Our group (SPONGEBOB!) had 7 violations, yeah, so we got punished.

Anyway, to more important matters - TRIAGE.

I totally screwed up in every triage. But at least, I'm VERY SURE I learnt something from all of them. At least, I'm more prepared now. And since the year 3 seniors stated that they might want mock triages during CCA, I've got to be prepared. I'll study my first aid manual every other day. =D (and home nursing too) (unless i have like, major assignments due). I'm going to be POSITIVE!

Then there was the TOPO:

We walked from Nanyang to Watten Estate Park to Adam Road to Lornie Road and 5 km along MacRitchie Reservoir then along the whole of Thomson Road then to Velocity at Novena (where we ate bread and canned food) then to Little India to Suntec City to Esplanade. ALL ON FOOT!! hahaha. If I were in my right state of mind, I'd be saying
" OH MY 天!"
Yeah, I think I said that in my sleep.

Speaking of which, I think I only slept 3 hours in total, in all three days.
I didn't bathe either.
I only used wet wipes.

I think Confidence Training was quite nice, though it could have been more challenging.
Night walk was quite cute, though it could have been scarier. I think maybe, the seniors could have used GLOW-IN-THE-DARK paint and like, write on pieces of cardboard :" ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK" or "GET OUT" etc, and when you pass by certain corridors, have a hand pop outta nowhere, or have someone call out your name in a creepy manner.

Oh, then there was Disabled.

I think I did really well in disabled - I transported more than 5 people, like Hui Ming, Jeraldine, Willa, Bernice, and some more people.
I was both blind and mute. So it was really difficult to move around. (Well, apparantly Iris was of no help in my moving around)
But, oh well.

BUT THE SCARIEST PART WAS
when Iris let go of me, I was groping around for hands - I was blind(folded) after all.

then i grabbed a hand.

Then a ma'am cried
" SO HOW NOW?! SHE'S BLIND?"

omg. i think i grabbed a ma'am's hand.

OMG.

I think that's all that's important about camp.
Of course it was fun.

And i think all my wounds and bruises and muscle aches were worth it.
Even the lack of personal hygiene was worth it.

(I took a one hour bath in the tub when I came back home though...)

and when I was in the tub, I was thinking,

"my god. I bet even cleopatra wasn't as lucky as me"

"Life is beautiful"
"especially after camp"

Yes, I'm back in school now.

HUZZAH.

Surrounded by that pack of white again.

and buried in those assignments.

Basically, I'm back to my average school life, with the exception of intensive parade training on tuesday and thursday (today), because the actual parade is tomorrow.
